Made from hand-picked, first-flush tea leaves, the plants are shaded for over 40 days under a double-layer canopy to develop depth and complexity. Traditionally stone-ground, this premium Japanese matcha is exceptionally smooth and well-balanced, with a gentle umami and a clean, lingering finish.

Traditional Matcha 

1. Sift 2 grams (1 tsp.) of matcha into a cup or tea bowl then add 2 ounces of hot (175°F) water. 
2. Whisk matcha with a bamboo whisk in a rapid zigzag motion until a creamy frothy layer forms.

3. Add additional water to taste and enjoy or pour over ice for an iced matcha!
